I have to admit that the writer in this novel struck me with a strange kind of horror, that of the boy who lost his father and his life was upended, his family of which I fear being a member and even terrify at the mere thought of meeting them, a novel that made me think about my relationship with my family… Do I really know them?! Do they know me?
